Louis-Philippe Broze is a young enthusiastic entrepreneur with a passion for the MedTech industry. He is currently finishing his master degree (business engineering at ICHEC Brussels management school – Belgium), and he completed this education at the Rijksuniversiteit of Groningen (The Netherlands) and at the Mahidol international college (Thailand). Louis-Philippe always had a passion for the healthcare sector, especially for the MedTech sector. That’s why he decided in 2016, together with his business partner, Florian De Boeck, to launch their own project in this sector: Spentys. This in order to play a part in this dynamic environnement and having a meaningful impact on people’s life. Before that Louis-Philippe also co-launched other projects such as UStart Belgium, and le RIFE.
We are striving to revolutionize the orthopaedic immobilization devices industry (casts, splints…) by introducing 3D technologies. We want the industry to shift from traditional design processes to new ones including 3D technologies. That’s why we are developing our 3-step solution (3D scanning, 3D modelling & 3D printing), centralized on a web platform.
The Spentys solution allows mass-customization of orthopaedic immobilization devices, while considering and including the medical expertise of health professionals.
To make the solution accessible to the market, Spentys has developed and clinically tested 3D printed orthopaedic immobilization devices (plasters, splints, etc.) on various limbs, including the arm, foot, finger, elbow…
