Sebastian De Boer is currently Business Development Manager of the imec innovation services department in imec. In this role, he combines technologies, products and services coming from 3 imec focus domains asics, prototypes and applications into his offering towards European startups, accelerating companies and multinationals.
He holds a Commercial Engineer degree and a Corporate Finance degree from the KULeuven and an Environmental Sciences degree from the University of Antwerp.
Over the past 20 years, he has held different customer facing jobs like amongst others Sales Engineer, Product Manager and Key Account Manager. Since some years, his interest is specially triggered by medical devices, where nanotechnology possibly could facilitate restoring hearing or sensing. Therefore, in his current role, he has a special focus on Health Technologies.
